Dear client, the questionnaire problem has been resolved in the latest Byecoin app version (2.0.12) in the Google Play Store and Apple app store. In this release it is possible to finalize the questionnaire.
Dear client, we have detected a critical problem in our software as a result it is temporarily not possible to complete the mandatory questionnaire. Because of this it is not possible to buy virtual currency. We are busy solving this issue, as soon as the problem has been resolved it will be reported here. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
The Dutch National Bank (DNB) imposes strict requirements on companies that sell virtual currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Yesterday Byelex Data Solutions BV, operating under the name Byecoin, obtained the registration from the Dutch National Bank to operate Bitcoin/Ethereum ATMs. Anyone can buy Bitcoin or Ethereum for a small amount of money via such an ATM and then store it safely on their own mobile phone. A mega step for the Netherlands to get acquainted with these revolutionary coins.
Years of experience
Byecoin has gained years of experience in selling Bitcoin and Ethereum in this way. Experiments with the technology have been carried out for several years on the High-tech Campus in Eindhoven, but a trial of more than one year has also been carried out at Schiphol to demonstrate that there is serious demand for this solution. Byecoin now has more than 25 ATMs operational in the Netherlands and in Belgium. Until one year ago, they operated under much less explicit control; a considerably stricter DNB regime now applies, that makes it necessary to download an app with a Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet. Thanks to the registration of Byecoin, it is now possible again to purchase Bitcoin or Ethereum directly with cash.
Experience shows that many users find it exciting and educational to get acquainted with Bitcoin and Ethereum via an ATM for smaller amounts. Thanks to this important registration from The Dutch National Bank, Byecoin can now fully develop and invest in the future. There are plans ready to further expand the network of ATMs in the Netherlands and Belgium. The aim is to have at least one ATM in every major city within a year. Byecoin is now talking to store chains such as Primera to this end.
Everyone has an opinion about Bitcoin. There are many wild stories going around. But there are at least as many super positive developments. Not only in the Netherlands, but also worldwide. That is why it is so important that everyone can easily get acquainted with Bitcoin and Ethereum, the two largest cryptocurrencies. Some forecasts predict that both will be worth at least ten times as much in the coming years, so this offers opportunities if you are looking for an alternative saving method. “A small amount per week makes a big difference for your future.”, is the slogan of Byecoin. And indeed: past experiences do not guarantee results in the future. It is right that DNB demands that this reservation always be made everywhere. On the other hand, if you don’t dare, you don’t win. It is very instructive to deal with Bitcoin and Ethereum in practice so that you really know what it is and how it works.
